Committee News
A committee is an operating body of the lodge. A committee helps divide the duties of the lodge into smaller, more manageable areas. This method alleviates the duties of the officers and enables more Arrowmen to have an active role in the functioning of the lodge. In essence, the committees shift the burden of the lodge operations from the few to the many. Any Arrowmen can join any committee, with a few exceptions. We hope that you'll look at all of the opportunities for you listed below, and pick a few committees that interest you. You may have the skills that that committee requires, or you may like to gain those skills by becoming an active member. Whatever your motivation, be sure to contact the Committee Chairman to learn more about the committee. All quoted material was copied from the Osceola Lodge First Year Arrowman Orientation Guide for the 2005 Lodge Year.
